Your Barcodes Are Already the
Foundation for EU DPP and GS1 Compliance
id.codes takes the identifiers your business already uses, maps them to GS1 standards, and turns them into EU Digital Product Passports (DPP) and QR codes enriched with your product data to the level you choose — ready for the ESPR and GS1 Sunrise 2027.
Upload your Excel or connect your PLM. Map your fields visually. Download compliant codes ready for your suppliers.
Template-driven, drag-and-drop, flexible. Built so that operations, production, and commercial teams can all use it from day one.
Trusted Across Industries
Deployed across fashion, sportswear, lingerie, Premier League merchandise, jewellery, and lifestyle brands.
Beyond Code Generation
The infrastructure behind your compliance, not just a QR generator.
Yes, we do create your QR codes. For products, SKU's, SKU's in batches and even serial number related ones. But a QR code is just the surface. Behind it sits a GS1-validated data structure, a hosted product information page, country-adaptive translation, and an optional decade of guaranteed data persistence, committed by us rather than left to chance.
Generating a QR image is trivial. Generating a compliant Digital Link that resolves to a living, editable, multilingual product passport and stays scannable for years after the sale is infrastructure.
Unlike basic QR generators that produce static images, id.codes gives you the compliance layer your products need to work towards the EU Digital Product Passport (DPP) rules under the ESPR and GS1 Sunrise 2027.

Thousands of SKUs. New QR requirements. Where do you start?
EU Digital Product Passport (DPP) requirements under the ESPR are arriving fast, and GS1 Sunrise 2027 is moving retail towards 2D (QR) codes at point of sale. The assumption is that this means starting from scratch.
It does not. Your existing barcodes and GTINs are not obsolete. They are the starting point. But you need a platform that understands how to bridge the gap between where you are today and where the standards require you to be.
Brands that delay face a short compliance window and the cost of retrofitting packaging that has already been printed.
You need a service that works with what you already have.
Start with what you have. We give you the tools for the rest.
id.codes works with your existing barcode numbers. Your GTINs, your SKUs, your product identifiers. None of it changes. The platform maps your data to GS1 fields, validates it against the standard, and generates GS1-ready QR codes that carry your product information at the depth you choose.
From basic GS1 identification through to full Digital Product Passport data, you control exactly how much information each code carries.
You do not need new numbers. You do not need a new system.
Templates, drag-and-drop layout, and a visual interface your whole team (from production to marketing) will actually enjoy using.

Platform Features
Everything you need. Nothing you don't.
Drag-and-Drop Excel Upload
Drop the product spreadsheet you already use. The system auto-detects your columns. No templates, no reformatting, no new identifiers.
Visual Field Mapping
Map your columns to GS1 fields visually. Your "Barcode Number" becomes "GTIN", your "Batch" becomes "Lot Number". Save templates for reuse.
GS1 Validation
Real-time validation against GS1 standards. Clear error messages if data does not match the required format before you generate.
Batch Preview
See 5 sample QR codes before generating the full batch. Verify everything looks right, then generate thousands in one click.
Multiple Output Formats
Download QR codes as PNG, SVG, or PDF. Choose your output structure and get a zip file ready for labels and packaging.
Custom Domain & Embedding
Use your own domain for QR URLs (e.g. id.yourbrand.com) or embed id.codes views on your site (e.g. yourbrand.com/dpp/).
Secure UK Infrastructure
Hosted in a UK data centre certified Tier IV by the Uptime Institute and certified to ISO 27001. We know your product data may include pre-launch information. You control when each QR code becomes publicly accessible.
You Control Visibility
As a brand, retailer or manufacturer, you decide when your QR codes go live. Product data stays private until you choose to make it publicly scannable.
How It Works
From your existing data to compliant QR codes in minutes.
Even without a PLM connected, you can be generating compliant codes in 10 minutes.
Already on WFX? Connect directly and skip the upload entirely. Either way, you are GS1 Sunrise 2027 ready.
Connect Your Existing Data
Upload the spreadsheet you already use, including your existing Barcodes, SKUs, and product data. Or connect your PLM or other data system via API.
Map Your Fields
Visually map your columns to GS1 fields. Choose how much data each code carries, from basic identification to full DPP. Save templates for future uploads.
Preview & Generate
Preview 5 sample codes, choose PNG/SVG/PDF format, then batch generate. You can see what the customer will see when they scan the QR.
Download & Embed
Download your zip of QR codes. Share the URI list with suppliers. Embed in labels, packaging, or your website. Only make the codes scannable (publish) when you are ready.
Your column names → GS1 Application Identifiers. Saved as reusable template.
When scanned, adapts & resolves to:

The Digital Product Passport
A DPP that adapts. Not a mould you are forced into.
id.codes generates a generic, compliant DPP view, then lets you make it yours. Add your own icons, rearrange sections, include data your PLM does not hold, and deliver country-specific content automatically.
Country-Adaptive Scanning
The DPP view automatically detects where a code is scanned and adapts to that country, including translating content to the local language.
Templated & Customisable
Start with compliant templates, then make them yours. Add your own icons to communicate specific elements, tailor sections for specific markets, and brand the entire experience.
Store Data Beyond Your PLM
Your PLM holds product data, but compliance needs more. id.codes lets you store sustainability claims, care instructions, certifications, and anything else your DPP requires, all in one place.
Drag, drop, reorder. Your DPP, your way.
The id.codes admin tool gives you complete control over what appears on your Digital Product Passport and in what order. Drag-and-drop sections, toggle visibility, and reorder content blocks - no code, no support tickets. The flexibility is immense, and far beyond what other solutions offer.
- drag_indicator Drag-and-drop section reordering
- dashboard_customize Pre-built templates for quick setup
- add_photo_alternate Upload custom icons per section
- visibility Toggle sections on/off per market or country

Regulatory Continuity
What happens to your data.
Your compliance does not depend on an unbroken subscription. Here is what happens at every stage.
Active Subscription
Full access to the id.codes DPP Studio. Create and manage codes, design custom templates with your branding, add marketing content and videos, route batches to your own domain or the id.codes viewer, and control exactly when products go live. A comprehensive management terminal for everything from compliance data to customer engagement.
Subscription Lapses
Your data does not disappear the moment an invoice is missed. Codes move into compliance mode, where they keep resolving and display your required product information using the standard id.codes template. Codes covered by the EU 10-Year Hosting Guarantee stay live for their full guaranteed period. Others keep working for a period after cancellation. You lose access to the DPP Studio and its features: custom templates, marketing content, videos, and domain routing. Reactivate at any time to regain full control.
EU 10-Year Hosting Guarantee
The add-on covers every code generated during any year the guarantee is active. Each code is then guaranteed for 10 years from its creation date, hosted on the id.codes domain, even if you later cancel your subscription.
You only pay for the years you need it. Use id.codes for two years with the guarantee active, and all codes from that period remain live for 10 years from when they were created. It is not an ongoing obligation.
Built For You
Built for the transition, not the disruption.
id.codes is designed to make compliance feel like a natural evolution of what your business already does, not a forced migration to something unfamiliar.
